He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Weldon Richey and Winnie Mae Evers Richey; his son Jacob Richey; his sister Kay Shelton; and his brother-in-law Don Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Meek Richey of Mt. Vernon; his children, Johnathan Richey of Scroggins, Joshua Richey of Alexandria, Adam Sinclair of Midlothian, Amy Brison of Decatur and Ashley Medders of Dekalb; his sisters, Paula Thomas of Scroggins, Beverly Gibson of Garland, Rose Mary Gunn (Mike) of Scroggins, Janis Crosby (Bill) of Hideaway Lake and Katherine Lacy (Craig) of Mineola; his brother-in-law Edwin Shelton of Scroggins; his grandchildren, Alyssa Richey, Nichole Richey, Isabella Richey, Jacob Richey, Landon Richey, Katy Slaven, Samuel Sinclair, Ava Sinclair, Emily Sinclair, Sarah Geney, Kyle Medders and Colton Medders; and his great grandchild Kash.
