It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Dale Womack of Mount Vernon, Texas, born in Bertram, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Womack and Mary Womack; and his wife Dee Womack. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Dale Womack, Libby Christine Gamble (Andy) and Greg Womack (Lu); his stepchildren, Karen Weiss (Charles), Richard Tucker and Billy Rhea Tucker (Dana); his sisters, Shirley Dean and Glenda Prince; his grandchildren, Chris Womack (Amber), Chase Womack (Taylor), Cade Womack (Stephani), Chance Gamble (Kimberlyn), Hannah Higgins (Jonathan), Andrew Heath Gamble, Dr. Gene Rhea (Colleen Tucker), Amy Haven Bernal (Jeromie), Travis Alan Tucker (Meredith), Melissa Sue Lovorn (Nathan), Terri Linn Quincey (Scott) and James Weiss (Krystal); and his great grandchildren, Ellie and Wade Womack.
