She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Holmes and Rosa Holmes (Clevenger); her brothers, Don (Mary Jo Holmes) and Gerald (Jane Holmes); her stepbrother Billy Frank Groom; and her stepmother Vesta Holmes.
She is survived by: her husband Morris Tinsley, Jr. of Mount Vernon; her daughter Terri (Don Carruthers); her grandchildren, Kurt Carruthers (Dee), Justin Carruthers (Rebecca), Jeffrey Carruthers (Tammy) and Stacy Pierson; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Biggerstaff (Sonny) and Sue Forgy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
