He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lester Martin and Mary Ellon Seay Martin; his stepfather Sam Draper; and his siblings, Raymond Martin and Wanda Nell Clinton.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Norman Sampson; his wife Evelyn Jane Martin of Mt. Vernon; his daughter Sandra Jane Olinger (Mark) of Mt Vernon; his brother Kent Draper (Betty) of California; and his nephew Kim Martin of Ft. Worth. He is also survived by his wife, daughter and son-in-law, friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church Mount Vernon, Texas or the First United Methodist Church Mount Vernon, Texas, choir funds.
