He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Allard and James Richards; his half-brother William Richards (Bill); and also, Dane and Stacy.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Richards Nottingham (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tristan Nottingham, Christopher Furdek, Nicholas Furdek and Marissa Nottingham; his wife Deborah Welch Richards; his stepmother Florence Richards; his son-in-law Steven Furdek; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Patterson and Dale Welch (Jenny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home (409 N Kaufman St, Mt Vernon, TX 75457). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the same location.
