He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Kohler and Marion Kohler; his former wife Joanne Kohler; his wife Helen Hale Kohler; his son Ken Kohler; his grandsons, Andy and Luke; his brother Karl Kohler; and his sister-in-law Patricia Kohler.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Kohler (Amy) of Waco, TX, David Kohler (Lori) of Ft. Worth, TX, Daniel Kohler (Lisa) of Virginia Beach, VA and Kathy Wilson (Fred) of Edmonds, WA; his daughter-in-law Nancy Kohler of Chesapeake, VA; his stepsons, Jeffrey Hale (Sandra) of Atlanta, TX, Danny Hale of Atlanta, TX and Patrick Hale (Ellen) of Glendale, AZ; his grandchildren, Tiffany Catherines (John), Jake Kohler (Jamie), Mikey Kohler, Bobby King (Isabel), Shira Szanto, Adam Wilson (Elena), Matthew Wilson, David Wilson, Amanda Kohler, Justin Kohler, Brandon Kohler, Benjamin Kohler, Nathan Kohler, Kyle Kohler (Carly) and Craig Kohler (Angela); his stepgrandchildren, Stephen Hale, Katie Knudson and Laura Hale; and his siblings, Hank Kohler (Karen) of Oak Creek, WI, Marion Carl (Allen) of Oak Creek, WI and Betty Maier (Dennis) of Oak Creek, WI.
