He is survived by: his children, Stacey Newsom of Rockwall, TX, Kimberley Newsom of Mount Vernon, TX, Shonda Leslie of Longview, TX, Ricky Newsom of Addison, TX and Rodney Newsom of Mount Vernon, TX; and his grandchildren, Cory Michael Newsom, Danielle Bailey, Jayme Doss, Landon Doss, Cody Newsom, Eric Newsom, Courtney Bartolomei, Whitney Hensley, Mia King, Micha Williams and Regan Hicks. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
