It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dottie Garretson of Mount Vernon, Texas, born in Mount Pleasant, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Billy Stacks; her husband Chester Garretson; and her siblings, Rodney Stacks, Ricky Stacks, Billy Dale Stacks, Betty Charlton and Belinda Ann Hulse.
She is survived by: her mother Louise "Horton" of Mt. Pleasant, TX; her children, Stephen Garretson (Jennifer) of Decatur, TX and Melissa Vainauskas (Peter) of Fresno, CA; her grandchildren, Jordyn Vainauskas, Alex Vainauskas, Brendan Garretson, Ethan Garretson and Ryan Garretson; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Morrison (Mike) of Mt.
