It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lowry of Mount Vernon, Texas, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Lowry to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, L. D. Lowry, Jr. and Frances Fayrine Lowry (Hickman); his wife Peggy Sue Watson of New London, Texas.; his children, Lisa Lowry of Mt. Vernon, Brad Lowry (Cari Lowry) of Argyle, Texas and Stan Lowry (Jill Lowry) of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Jared Williams of San Antonio, Bradleigh Coats (Jason Coats) of Argyle, Layton Lowry of Dallas, Laine Sadler (Ian Sadler) of Argyle, Charleigh Lowry of Argyle, Grant Lowry (Bekah Lowry) of Mount Vernon and Samantha Lowry of Mount Vernon; his great grandchildren, Cason Coats and Camden Coats of Argyle, Texas; and his siblings, Jeanie Hayes (Jere Hayes) of Dallas and Len Lowry (Vickie Lynn Lowry) of Mt. Vernon. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

In 2009 he was inducted into the Franklin County Schools League of Honor. And in 2019 he was made an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Franklin County Industrial Foundation.
