Beverly Joyce Higginson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Joyce Higginson of Mount Vernon, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E York and Opal M York (Skinner); her spouse Jerry Alden Higginson; her siblings, Clarence York (Martha), Billy Joe York (Margaret), Mary Tracy (William) and Nedra Hayes (Ray); and her sister-in-law Ortus Lee Dunbar (Roger).

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Allynn Higginson (Brenda) and Jerry Alden Higginson Jr. (Leah); her grandchildren, Jeremy Higginson (Sara), Dawn Davila (Adan), Eric Higginson, Sara Gallion (Matthew) of Escondido, CA and Jon Higginson of San Antonio, TX; her great grandchildren, Joshua and Joseph; her siblings, Charles York and Emily Edwards of Mount Vernon; and also Judy Mahan (Larry) of Live Oak, Florida.. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
