She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Estell Pilgrim (Storey) and James Pilgrim; her former husband C. L. Capps (John); her siblings, Hubert L., Aubrey B. Pilgrim and Reba Bernice Pilgrim Henley; and her granddaughter Christie Dawn Welch.

She is survived by: her sister Francis Christell Newman of Willis, TX; her children, Pamela S. Welch (Wendell) of Fort Worth, TX, Cathy L. Fojtasek (Marvin) of Frisco, TX, Frank R. Capps (Pam) of Temple and Willie D. Capps II (Drenda) of Temple; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Sara, Michael, Sabrina, Dawn, Haley and Katey. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren, and a whole host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Texas Elks Children Services Inc., 1961 FM 1586 Gonzales, TX 78629-9674 or your favorite Charity.
