She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruby Brewster and John Brewster; her husband Larry Shankle; her son John Shankle of Abilene; her sister Ruth Pool of Longview; her daughters, Carol (Roy Fox) and Christie (Dwayne Knox); her daughter-in-law Dr. Nancy Shankle of Bryan; her brother Robert Brewster of Roswell; and her grandchildren, Brent Fox, Lori Boaze, Miranda Conder, Carrie Shankle, Joey Shankle, Patricia Knox and Andrew Knox. She was also cherished by 15 great grandchildren; and 6 great, great grandchildren.
