He was predeceased by: his parents, James Davis and Mildred Gober Davis; and his brother Buddy Davis. He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis; his children, Sheila Donnette Davis and Jerry Don; his daughter-in-law Lori Davis; his daughter Lindsey; his son-in-law Alan Hix; his daughter Roxanne; his son-in-law Randy Ballard; his grandchildren, Morgan Davis, Dylan Davis, Zack Davis, Cailey Hix, Rance Ballard, Chance Ballard, Chad Ballard and Caitlin Hix Kidder (Parker Kidder); his great grandchild Everly Kidder; and his siblings, James, Gaylon Davis and Jackie O'Brien.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper Sloan Funeral Home (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper Sloan Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
