It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Owsley (Mount Pleasant, Texas), who passed away on July 26, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ben Owsley; his wife Dortha Nell Combs Owsley; his mother Emma Woods Owsley; his brothers, Clifton Owsley and Eugene Owsley; and his siblings-in-law, Julia Lillian "Ditty" Owsley, Otha Owsley, Betty Surratt and James Combs.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy; his son-in-law Mike Delaney of Mesquite, TX; his son Mark Owsley of Mt. Pleasant, TX; his grandchildren, Emily Betts (Michael) of Tatum, TX, April Shivers (Jason) of Beckville, TX and Clint Fortenberry (Melissa) of Frisco, TX; his great grandchildren, Katelyn Moore, Randall, Christopher, Grayson Shivers, Gracie, Kadin, Lauryn Betts and Harper Fortenberry; his sister-in-law Emma Alice Combs of Lawton, OK; and his nieces and nephews, Jenny Nash (Nathan) of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Paula Allison (Larry) of Lake Cherokee, TX, Tammy Miller (Jon) of Longview, TX, Cindy Prescott of Oklahoma City, OK, Mike Combs of Dallas, TX and Gary O'Dell of North Dakota.
