It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wilson Barrett of Mount Pleasant, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Barrett and Dolly Barrett (Rutherford); his wife Anna Jo Barrett; his daughter Tera Barrett (Toni Harris); his brother Richard Barrett; and his close friend Kathy Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Rena Douglas (Kenneth) of Mt. Pleasant, Anthony Barrett (Willie Mae) of Mt. Pleasant, Mattie Traylor of Mt. Pleasant, Ted Connally of Mt. Pleasant, Beverly Grundy of Mt. Pleasant, Lashandra Hargrave (Billy) of Mt. Pleasant, Stacey Nixon (Brian) of Mt. Pleasant, Tracy Craig (Telesa) of Mt. Pleasant, Terry Connally (Elsa) of Florida, Joanie Hudson (Hughey) of Cleburne, Texas, Tycorious Hurndon of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Keterian Traylor of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his sister-in-law Linda Barrett of Mt. Vernon; and his friend Jennifer Brownlee. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren.
