With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Rush (Mount Pleasant, Texas), who passed away on November 9, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William David and Lola Hanes (Armsworthy); her husband John A. Rush; her siblings, Lillie Layton, Inez Walker and William Junior Hanes; and her great grandchild Bradley Keith Reeves.

She is survived by: her children, Glynda Gariepy, Janet (Pat Hays), Gay (Mike Miller) and Johnnie Rush of Hudson Oaks, TX; her grandchildren, Bradley, Bruce, Brent, Greta Reeves, Chelsea Huckaby, Leighann Nance, Ron Hays, Erin Miller and Erica James; and her sister-in-law Louise Young of Houston, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
