With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Van Dean White (Mount Pleasant, Texas), who passed away on May 8, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Hilda Faye Willis White; his siblings, Barbara Nell, Richard H. and William Mack; and his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Ray and Allison Ray.
He is survived by: his spouse Lyda Kate Doss White (Katie); his daughters, Karen Williams, Russ Williams of Titusville, Julie Ray, John Ray of College Station, Vickie Shipp, Howard Shipp of Kilgore, Vanessa Cox, Jim Cox of Tyler, Michelle Brown and Doug Brown of Mt; his grandchildren, Benjamin Johnson, Erin Johnson, Deana Hancock, Chad Hancock, Kyle Shipp, Sarah Milliken, Adam Milliken, Anna Huffman, Jesse Huffman, Zachary Williams, Stephanie Collins, Chris Collins, Bethany Williams, Matt Brown, Jonathan Cox and Ryan Cox; his stepgrandchildren, Christine Leal, Jimmy Cox, Tiffany Bohrer and Stefanie Manley; his sisters, Mary Lee, Jim Uhler, Peggy Bennett, Alice Lucas, James Lucas, Nancy Ballard and Cyril Ballard; his sister-in-law Jean Maxwell; and also, Mt Pleasant and Bob Maxwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
