He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mae Bean and Elmer Lee Stanberry; his siblings, Evelyn Bean and Roy Bean; his daughter Marissa Joyce Bean-Lewis; and his granddaughter Iisha Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Lorraine Bean; his son Thomas Bean Jr. (Cassandra Bean); and his siblings, Dorothy Sims, Deborah Benton and Lester Bean. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
