He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Mitchell and Ethel Jewell Mitchell (Hendrix); his sister Stacey Mitchell; and his grandparents, J. C., Grady B. Hendrix, Weldon Sr. and Anna Jo Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, O'zandria Mitchell of Pittsburg, Mykah Mitchell of Cason, Tedrick Mitchell of Omaha and Tedron Mitchell of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his siblings, Carolyn Mitchell of Lone Star, Texas and Carl Jr.; his sister-in-law Demeka Mitchell of Pittsburg, Texas; his close friend Debra Williams; his nieces, Tydeija Kelley, Aaliyah Hudson of Lone Star, Sabrina Williams and Tristyana Mitchell of Pittsburg, Texas; and his great-niece Samiya Anderson of Lone Star, Texas.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
