It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lucille Allen of Mount Pleasant, Texas, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Macon Grady Hinton, Sr. and Goldie Gertrude Hatfield-Hinton; her husband Herman Lee Allen; and her brother Carl Hinton. She is survived by: her children, Becky Wisinger (Randy), Gary Allen and Bruce Ray; her brother Johnny Hinton; and her grandchildren, Stacey Wisinger (Alicia Henderson), Melanie Wisinger, Stephanie Ray Wylie (Adam Wylie), Amanda Tenbrook, Nikki Ray and Jessica Kelly (Zac Kelly). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
