He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Buck" and Betty Hughes; his siblings, Sammy Hughes, Roger Hughes and Patsy Hughes Bomnskie; and his granddaughter Abigail Robbinson.
He is survived by: his children, Sera Hughes, Charles Hughes, Dean Hughes, Don Hughes and Rusty Hughes; and his siblings, Barbara Tosh and Randy Hughes (Linda). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
