She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Mitchell and Florene Allen Mitchell; and her daughter Sondra Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Butler Smith, Chris Capehart and Dessiree Watson; and her siblings, Bobby Mitchell, Betty Montelongo, John Mitchell and Tammy Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
