He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Roesler and Arlene Roesler; his son Michael Roesler; his brother Duane Roesler; his son-in-law William Nelson (Billy); and his sister-in-law Joann Petersen.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Roesler Nelson, Wesley Roesler and Janice Roesler; his wife Janice Derby Roesler; his daughter-in-law Heather Breit Roesler; his brother Kevin Roesler; his grandchildren, DeeAnn, Arron Roesler, Meghan, David Rosewell, Madison Roesler, Garrett Roesler, Shelby Roesler and Kaelah Roesler; and his brothers-in-law, Daryl Derby (Sharon) and Terry Petersen. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and foster children.
