He was predeceased by: his parent Louvenia Reynolds; his adoptive parents, Rev. Lonnie C. Bell, Sr. and Essie Lee Bell; and his siblings, Mary Louise Chandler, Johnny Mack Mitchell, Leslie Jean Gibbs-Johnson, Jackie Rogers, Barbara Evans, Willie Faye Warren and Elizabeth Ann Johnson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norris Lee Smith, Dorothy Faye Nixon, Rev. Lonnie C. Bell, Jr. (Nellie), Barbara Jean Jackson and Rev. Johnny F. Bell (Cencil). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
