She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Weldon Steed and Lillie Dora Fielder Steed. She is survived by: her sister Mary Jo; her brother-in-law David Hahn of Richardson; her nephew Mark Hahn; her niece Amy (Jason Tennison); her great-nieces, Maryn Tennison and Ellie Tennison; her great-nephew Carter Tennison; and her cousins, Jerry Fielder and Dora Ledbetter.

In Lieu of flowers in Martha Steed's memory donations can be made to the Senior Adult Ministry at the Highland Park Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
