She was predeceased by: her parents, Flavio Acuna and Guadalupe Cortez. She is survived by: her daughter Marina Cano; and her grandchildren, Alejandra Cano, Luis Cano and Sebastian Cano.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curry - Welborn Funeral Home (2256 N Edwards Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Michaels Catholic Church (1403 E 1st St, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
