It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariguinn Butler (Mount Pleasant, Texas), born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 19, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gwen and Mary Williams (Whittle); her significant other Cliff Butler; and also Clifford. She is survived by: her children, Suzy, Ernest Shannon Butler (Kathryn) of Greenwood, Clifford Shane Butler (Gina) of Bullard, Sara Rene Hughes (Robert) of Murphy and Carla Sue Whitten (John) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jacob Butler (Rebekah), Elizabeth Smith (Zach), Justin Hughes (Kacie), Callie Lee (Todd), Lorin Higgins (Brad), Noah McCathern, Grace Whitten and Caleb Whitten; her great grandchildren, Zoe, Macie, Logan, Jones Luke, Oliver, Lillian and Grayson; her niece Laurie Geurin; and her nephews, Brent Butler and Steve Butler. She is also survived by cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, Mariguinn requested donations be made to the Widows Ministry at South Jefferson Baptist Church and Cypress Basin Hospice both of Mt Pleasant, TX.
