With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lou Ann Folsom of Mount Pleasant, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 80. As we bid Lou Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lou Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Breder and Marie Breder; her husband Ira Clarence Folsom Sr.; her brother Paul Breder; her stepchildren, Viola May Folsom and Erwin Folsom; and her stepdaughter-in-law Kay Folsom.
She is survived by: her stepson Ira Clarence Folsom Jr. (Nancy). She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home (2256 N Edwards Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Nevill's Chapel Cemetery (113 Co Rd 3210, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
