She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Jenkins and Margaret Dawson (Taylor); her husband Gary "Sonny" Smith; and her brother Barney Dewight Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Angie French (David) and Bubba Smith (Serena); her sisters, Anita Touchstone and Carol Sutton; her grandchildren, Mandi Rhea (Cody), Monica Isbell, Jeff French (Amber), Chad French, Olivia White (James), Kellar Smith and Karleen Carlock (Marcus); her great grandchildren, Harley Smith (Jordon), Hayden Gaddis, Hannah Rhea, Sadie Applegate, Lance Applegate, Paisley Ellis, Zachary French, Grayson French, Brooklyn White, Canaan White and Zachary Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Callum Smith, Colsen Smith, Greyson Vaughn, Everleigh Vaughn and Westyn Vaughn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
