He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Wilson Barrett and Pearl Barrett (Slone); his former wife Lola Belle Barrett (Richey); his wife Kathleen Browning Barrett (Banks); and his siblings, Bobby Barrett, Jackie Barrett and Saundra Efurd.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Lynne Barrett), Daniel and Paddy Barrett of Whitehouse, TX; his grandchildren, Scott and Kara Barrett of Flint, TX; his daughters-in-law, Julie Hess of Orlando, FL, Hillary and Iurie Corjos (Mitchell Barrett) of Springfield, MO; and his sister-in-law Inga Barrett of Mount Pleasant, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other extended family.
