He was predeceased by: his parents, Basel Euna Bowers and Olive Duncan Bowers Hood; his wife Janice Bowers; his sister Elaine Thorton; and his stepfather Thomas Jack Hood.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Bowers and Melanie Molina; and his grandchildren, Alden Price, Malley Selec, Sergio Molina, April McKee, Crystal Parker and Derek Molina. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
