He is survived by: his wife Penny Newsom of Baytown, Texas; his children, Monica Ayala of Baytown, Maureen Newsom of Nova Scotia, Canada, Matt Newsom of Madison, Wisconsin, Johnny Newsom of Okinawa and Chris Johnston of Danbury, Texas; and his siblings, Joe Newsom of Daingerfield, Texas and Janelle Hudgins of Grandbury. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
