It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Pat Smith of Mount Pleasant, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hughie Smith and Sally Mae Smith (Bradfield); his wife Maxine Smith; and his siblings, Virginia Stovall (Ginger), Joel and Wayne Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Bobby Hall of Texarkana, TX; his grandchildren, Chris and Jeff Hall; his niece Tonya Shortnacy; his nephew Roy (Jenny Stovall); his sister-in-law Bettye Smith; and his close friends, Max and Queeny. He is also survived by numerous other nieces & nephews; numerous great nieces & nephews.
