He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Sandlin and True Sandlin; his sister Sally Sandlin Ratliff; his daughter-in-law Diana Salvucci; and his grandson Richmond Kinder Sandlin.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Nicholls Sandlin; his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Rick Anderson; his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Bernadette Sandlin; his daughter Amy Sandlin; his grandchildren, Luke (Tasa Anderson), Katie (Keres Fite), Jaclyn (Dusty Hawkins), Rachel (Trey Oliver) and Roslyn Sandlin (Michael McPherson); his sister True Sandlin Mann; his siblings-in-law, Sheila (Jim Murray) and Bill Ratliff; and also, Hannah Anderson, Ava True Fite, George Fite, Ella Anderson, Jake Anderson, Josie Hawkins, Nicolas McPherson and Victor Oliver. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church or Cypress Basin Hospice.
