He is survived by: his children, Johnnie Carl Evans (Twyla Evans), Betty Moore (Walter Moore), Larry Evans (Shelia Evans), Walter Evans, Sherry Ivory, Irma Brown, Bearnice Evans and Geneva Evans; his close friend Sarah Ann Police; and his siblings, Florene Williams, Jenny Brown and Arthur Evans. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
