He was predeceased by: his parents, Thornton Arledge and Ruth Ratliff Arledge; his wife Sue Walling Arledge; his sister Dorothy Ruth Arledge; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Strawther, Carol Coldwell Arledge and Ken Ek.
He is survived by: his family Elm Church of Christ; his children, Kathie Johnson (Tim) of Carrollton, Cindy Short (David) of Rockwall, Jeff Arledge (Debbie) of Richardson and James Arledge (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant; his brother Bob Arledge of Broken Arrow, OK.; his sister-in-law Betty Ek (Walling) of Ft. Myers, FL.; his grandchildren, Jason Arledge, Austin Arledge (Taylor), Whitney Westbrook (Aaron), Lindsey Gaddis (Kory), Tyler Johnson, Makenzie Arledge and Ellie Wooten; his great grandchildren, Haley Arledge, Guage Arledge, Madison Arledge, Gage Westbrook, Grayson Westbrook, Gentry Westbrook, Graham Westbrook, Ayden Arledge, Ainsley Arledge and Emma Gaddis; his niece Pam Webster; and his nephews, Kent Ek, Randy Ek, Philip Strawther, David Arledge and Steven Arledge.
