He is survived by: his father James Chopel of Mount Pleasant, TX; his daughters, Emily Bryan Nichole Chopel of Mount Pleasant, TX and Samantha Allison Chopel of Jesup, GA; his grandchildren, Tilly Harper Martin of Jesup, GA and Whaley Hooks Martin of Jesup, GA; his cousins, Shane Bullock and Kimberly Bullock of Mount Pleasant, TX; his aunt Kathy Cobb of Mount Pleasant, TX; and his uncle John (Margaret Chopel) of Amarillo, TX.
