He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee and Mary Lee (Black); his grandparents, Willie Lee, Sylvia Whitmore, William Black, Lucy Jane Petty, Amos Lee, Sudie Lee, James Pompie Black, Saphronia Reeno, Henry Reeno and Harriet Runes; his mother-in-law Marie Moore; his siblings, Katherine Heath, Myrtlene Cooks, Rosetta, Chappell and William; and his siblings-in-law, John Owens, Richard Brewer, Otha Chapelle, Tommie Cook, Johnny B. Neal, Jimmie Helen Neal and Ramona Tabb.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marie Lee of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his sisters, Vernice Lee, Merlissa Brewer, Mary Owens, Lyndia Lee and Anna Lee; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Ray Smith and Patricia Williams.
