He was predeceased by: his parents, Roque Fernandes and Felecidade Fernandes; his uncle Ignatius Martins; and his sister Flossy Rodrigues. He is survived by: his wife Florinda Cruz Fernandes; his daughters, Christel Fernandes Reilly, Laverne Fernandes Harbaugh and Nicole Fernandes Kimball; his sons-in-law, Zachary Reilly, Steven Harbaugh and Jesse Kimball; his grandsons, Xavier Acosta, Colin Reilly, Ty Harbaugh and Noah Harbaugh; his siblings, Anthony, Leonard Fernandes, Rita Fernandes, Jennifer Bredesen and Angela Donegan; his siblings-in-law, Antoinette, Penny Fernandes, Bill Bredesen and Nick Donegan; his aunt Angela Martins; and his nieces and nephews, Carissa Adams, Jean, Grethel Rodrigues, Charlotte Fernandes, Chloe, Kara Donegan, Sandon Fernandes, Darren, Dillon Bredesen and Luke Donegan.
