She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Ray and Lena May Bane (Gilbreath); her husband B. E. "Gene" Lee; and her brother Clarence Ray Bane (Judy Harris). She is survived by: her children, Thomas Jefferson "Bubba" Ayers (Teresa), Timothy James "Timmy" Ayers (Tammy) of Buffalo and Tonya Janice Champion (Bob) of Buffalo; her stepchildren, Jean Davis of Buffalo, Nancy Pursch of Teague, Lynn McGonagill of Mt. Pleasant and Jimmy Lee of Buffalo; her grandchildren, National Ross Champion (Nicole), Ima Derby Champion, Taylor Paige Ayers, Matthew Jeffery Ayers (Halie), Sabrina McClenley and Jessy Champion; and her great grandchildren, Reinen Coy Champion, Oaklynn Paige Ayers and Bailey Johnson.
