He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert and Virginia Turner (Nelson); his daughter Jeana; his brother Joe Amos Cuellar; and his brothers-in-law, Findley Lyons and Lavell Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Verma Jean Turner of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his sisters, Dixie Lyons of Houston, Laura Dixon of Dallas, Betty Portis of Springfield, OH and Mary (James Watson); and his sisters-in-law, Lendell Jones of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Patricia Jones of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Lula Cuellar of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
