Gary Allen Rockwell Obituary
Gary Allen Rockwell was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on March 12, 1957 to Arthur Lee and Josie (Okray) Rockwell. Mr. Rockwell died Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant.
He was a graduate Mt. Pleasant High School, Mt. Pleasant, Class of 1975. Gary was an avid fisherman, loved to collect antiques, old coins, and old comic books. His passion was working on cars especially old cars. He could fix about anything and was kind of a jack-of-all-trades.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his three brothers Bobby Rockwell, Arthur Lee Rockwell Jr., Edward Wayne Rockwell, one sister Venita Rockwell.
He leaves to cherish his memories four children Martee Rockwell of Tyler, Texas, Dartanya Ann Rockwell of Pittsburg, Texas, Vinita Rockwell of Oklahoma City, OK, Latisha Craig of Pittsburg, Texas; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild; his sisters and three brothers-in-law Fannie Linwood, Annie Owens, Jocie and Paul Spraglin all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Dorsey and William Flowers of Laveen, AZ, Teresa Walton and her husband Toot; two brothers Stephen Rockwell of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Lorenzo Rockwell of Phoenix, AZ; three aunts Ollie Mae Eaton and Dorothy Barrier both of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Dorothy Okray of Dallas, Texas; one uncle Richard Rockwell of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
