She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Philpot and Helen Plastid; her daughter Shari Wright; her granddaughter Candace Wright; and her siblings, Robert Philpot, William Philpot, Richard Philpot, Ruth Tripp, Gerald Philpot, Rachel Mills, Lewis Philpot and Ronald Philpot.

She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Steele and Valarie Seminter; her granddaughters, Natalie Wright, Serena and Tanya; her great grandchild Isla; and her siblings, Julia Dearborn, Pricilla Wentworth, Daniel Philpot and Leon Philpot.
