She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Johnnie Lee McGill; her daughter Maria McGill Wilkerson Harper (Corey); her mother Erma Gene Mosley McGill (Mosley); and her siblings, Johnnie Ruth Powell, Helen McGill, Teressie Dudley Johnnie Ruth (Victor), Frances Justice and Eddie McGill (Ava). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
