We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2023, at the age of 71, Edna M. Bratton (Mount Pleasant, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozine Askew and Leah Askew of Year's Day; and her siblings, Charlie Mae Mike, Jeanette Searcy and Bernard Askew.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Bratton Sr.; her children, Tyrone Rogers (April), Lakeda Monroe (Thaderus), Richard Bratton Jr. and Angela Foster (Nievan); and her siblings, Robert Askew, Willie Askew, Laura Wickerson and Shapamela Poole. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, special friends.
