She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Henry and Arnetta Cooper; her husband Sam Jackson; her son Michael West; her grandson DeShawn Newton; and her niece Teresa Everett.
She is survived by: her sons, Shelton West of Mount Pleasant, Reginald West of Houston and Bishop J. Anthony; her daughter-in-law Angela Grant of DeSoto; her daughters, Theresa Grant of Mount Pleasant and Crystal Jackson of Mount Pleasant; her sister-in-law Loyce Henry of Mount Pleasant; and her nephew Ronald (Margo Henry) of Mount Pleasant. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; brother.
