He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ruth Fortenberry; his sons, Eddie Andrew Fortenberry (Callie) and Jeff Howard Fortenberry (KC); and his grandchildren, Tye Charlton (Amy), Matthew Fortenberry (Rylee), Anna Fortenberry Dockery (Sean), Lakyn Fortenberry, Emma Fortenberry, Taylor Everts (Kory) and Alec Wilson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
