She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosie Johnson Sr. and Rosie Ann Wilkerson; her grandchild Terry Cain; and her siblings, James Talton, Lawrence Johnson (Bull), Alvin Johnson (Buddy), Bobbie Jean Johnson and Jeannie Mason.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Jr. Rockwell; her children, Betty Goodwyn (Louis), Don Monroe (Mable), Eddie Rockwell (Juanita) and Tena McCoo (Ronnie); her siblings, Melvin Johnson, Earnest Ray Johnson (Wren), Hosie Johnson Jr. (Emma), Tommy Lee Johnson, Alonzo Johnson Garner, Lessie Ventry, Versie Handy, Lou Vanna Lewis (John) and Mickey Easter (James); and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Barrier, Ollie Eaton and Richard Rockwell (Jea). She is also survived by six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
