He is survived by: his wife Margaret Shumate; his son David; his daughter-in-law Tanya Shumate; his son Ben; his daughter-in-law Debbie Shumate; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Karen Shumate; his grandchildren, Trent, Asia Shumate, Brett, Sarah Shumate, Jacob Shumate, Katy, Billy Tomlin, Daniel, Ashley Shumate and Rachel Shumate; and his great grandchildren, Abby Shumate, Kylee Shumate, Connor Shumate, Landri Shumate, Layton Shumate, Nash Shumate, Ramzee Edwards and McCoy Edwards.
