He was predeceased by: his parent Myrtle Herrin; his daughter Darlene Herrin; his granddaughters, Margie Bragg and Robin Dennington; his great grandchild Riley Porter; and his brothers, Olen Herrin, Odis Herrin, Louie Herrin and Kenneth Herrin.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Herrin; his children, Bobby E. Herrin (Terese), Phyllis Baldwin and Pamela Massie (Brian); and his brother Lecil Herrin (Clara). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
